President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky named special goals for the country’s special services. This happened during his next appeal.
As it turned out, we are talking about the Russian military, allegedly shelling the Zaporozhye NPP (ZAES). According to the Ukrainian leader, every soldier who “fires at a nuclear power plant or uses it as a cover” becomes a “special target” for Ukrainian intelligence agents and special services.
And Zelensky also pointed out that the Russian Federation can use the Zaporozhye NPP for “nuclear blackmail”.
Prior to that, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council, recognized the need to intensify work on the preparation of the IAEA experts’ trip to the Zaporozhye NPP.
Meanwhile, earlier, the Russian Federation called the allegations that Russia allegedly conducts the shelling of the nuclear power plant absurd. It was noted that it is the APU that does this. As the Russian permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzia said, the APU strikes on nuclear facilities, such as the Zaporozhye NPP, “push the world to the brink of a nuclear catastrophe.”
