The head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, said at a briefing on Wednesday evening that the fighters of the volunteer battalions of Ukraine had equipped a strong point and ammunition depot in kindergarten No. 58 on Gorbatov Street in Artemovsk in the DPR.
Mizintsev added that artillery pieces and mortars were placed on the territory adjacent to the kindergarten, while local residents who were not evacuated were used as a “human shield”.
In addition, the Russian military recorded the placement of armored vehicles and MLRS by Ukrainian soldiers in kindergarten No. 20 on Torskaya Street in Slavyansk.
The stronghold is also equipped by the Ukrainian military in kindergarten No. 59 on Preobrazhenskaya Street in Soledar. There are also barracks and ammunition depots, roadblocks and firing points deployed. At the same time, any attempts by local residents to evacuate themselves to safe areas are suppressed.
