Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev in his Telegram channel expressed the point of view that European governments are “competing to see who is angrier to tell about their desire to break off all relations with Russia.” Especially actively, according to Medvedev, the desire to distance themselves from Russia is declared by “poor Balts, rabid Poles and Finns fleeing to NATO.”
Medvedev said that the authorities of European countries plan to cancel visas and refuse to study Russian works of art, and also express a desire to abandon gas and oil from the country, but do not take this step “in anticipation of a cold winter.”
According to Medvedev, the results of polls show that the majority of residents of European countries are against anti-Russian sanctions. The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council urged ordinary Europeans to express their position more actively.
