President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement following talks in Lviv with Turkish President Recep Erdogan and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
During the press conference, Erdogan said that Guterres and Zelensky agree that the conflict should be resolved at the negotiating table, and stressed that Turkey is ready to assist in the resumption of the Istanbul process of negotiations between Moscow and Kiev.At the same time, the Ukrainian president called the conditions for their holding.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine will negotiate only if the Russian Federation leaves all the territories currently occupied by Russian troops.
Erdogan, for his part, said that he intends to convey information about the results of the meetings held in Lviv to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
