Former US President Donald Trump kept at least 300 secret documents at his estate in Mar-a-Lago in the US state of Florida, The New York Times reported on Monday.
According to her, about 150 secret papers were returned by the former head of the country to the National Archives and Records Administration of the United States in January, and the remaining papers with classified information were handed over by Trump’s representatives to the US Department of Justice in June, some more documents were seized during a search at Mar-a-Lago in early August.
According to the newspaper, currently, representatives of the US administration count 26 boxes of materials stored by Trump, of which 11 sets of classified materials, including one marked “top secret”. Among the returned documents were materials from the CIA, the NSA (National Security Agency – ed.) and the FBI.
