According to CNN, the coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council, John Kirby, commenting on the murder of Russian journalist Daria Dugina, called such acts of violence unacceptable.
The American official added that Washington is “closely monitoring” the investigation of this incident.
“This kind of violence is inappropriate against anyone,” Kirby stressed.
