Russia is buying North Korean artillery, writes The New York Times with reference to US intelligence.
The article states that Moscow was forced to turn to North Korea for the purchase of “millions of shells and missiles” by global sanctions, which “seriously limited its supply chain.”
The US did not provide details of the intelligence data on the timing or size of deliveries, and there is no way to verify the sale, the NYT reports.
In addition, in addition to short-range missiles and artillery shells, as expected in the United States, Moscow will try to purchase additional North Korean equipment in the future.
