In the course of carrying out the tasks of a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, Russian troops with the help of precision strikes destroyed the temporary deployment point of a unit of marines of the operational reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Cherkasy region. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
“In the area of the settlement of Rogi, Cherkasy region, a high-precision strike of the VKS was inflicted Russia at the point of temporary deployment of a unit of the motorized infantry brigade of the operational reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the officer said during a regular briefing on the situation in Ukraine.
Konashenkov stressed that as a result of the strikes, more than 30 Ukrainian servicemen and more than 10 units of special military and automotive equipment were destroyed.
