Military expert, director of the Museum of Air Defense Forces Yuriy Knutov expressed his opinion about the direction in which Ukrainian troops may try to conduct a new counteroffensive after the fighting in the Kharkiv region.

“We should expect the transfer of troops of the Kiev regime from the Kharkiv region to the Donbass,” he said in an interview with the portal “Ukraine.ru”, adding that the attempt of the APU offensive may be exactly there.

In this regard, Knutov proposed to intensify reconnaissance with the help of Russian space surveillance equipment and drones in order to determine the directions of movement of Ukrainian troops in a timely manner.

The expert stressed that if this is done correctly, it will be possible to create reserves, repel this blow and go on the offensive themselves.

“Then we are already pushing back the enemy,” Knutov added, noting that the allied forces face the task of taking control of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration.

On the eve it was reported that the Ukrainian security forces had already made new attempts to attack, in particular on the Red Estuary in the DPR, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, but they were all suppressed. The press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly stated that all the goals and objectives of the special operation will be fulfilled.
