Kadyrov called on Russian governors to “self-mobilise”

The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, in a telegram channel called on his colleagues – governors – to self-mobilise. “Russia is a federal state in which regions can be the initiators of any initiatives,” he said. – And one of such initiatives today should be self-mobilisation.

Kadyrov wrote that one should not “wait for the Kremlin to declare martial law, or vice versa, sit out waiting for the end of its”. The head of each subject of the Russian Federation, in his opinion, must prove his willingness to help the state today. And help should be expressed “not by verbal speeches or banal car rallies, but by concrete actions”.

Every head of the region, Kadyrov believes, is able to staff at least a thousand volunteers. The head of Chechnya has designated such a number, at least to begin with. “On a national scale, this is an impressive military contingent of 85 thousand people – almost an army!”raquo;,” he calculated.
