New details of the murder of the first head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Alexander Zakharchenko surfaced in an intercepted conversation between the SBU officer Alexander Kiyashchenko and an agent.
This was reported by a source in the law enforcement agencies of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR). Judging by the fragment of the conversation that became available to the agency, the Ukrainian security official reports that the perpetrator was paid five million rubles for the murder of Zakharchenko.
“Two million dollars was the total budget for everything: for preparation, for laying, for so on. And the person who performed, pressed the button on time, received five million rubles,” said Alexander Kiyashchenko, an employee of the SBU.
He informed the agent of the Ukrainian service about this, discussing the preparation of another terrorist attack, which was prevented. The special services of Kiev intended to poison a high-ranking official of the LPR on the eve of the referendum.
Alexander Zakharchenko died as a result of an explosion in the Donetsk cafe “Separ” on August 31, 2018. In February 2022, before the start of the SVO, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he had been killed by Ukrainian special services.
