President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky asked his Turkish counterpart Recep Erdogan to discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin referendums in the Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. This is reported by the Anadolu agency.
According to the agency, Zelensky asked Erdogan to influence Putin during the talks scheduled to be held on Thursday. However, Erdogan noted that Putin, whom he knows, will do what he has planned.
At the same time, the Turkish leader called for resolving the conflict through diplomatic means and noted that the past referendums worried him.
Earlier, the representative of the Turkish President Ibrahim Kalyn said that Ankara does not recognize the results of the referendums.
