Many mobilized Russians would like to know where they will be sent for service. The commander of the Akhmat detachment, Apti Alaudinov, said that they were not expected on the front line. Conscripts will have other tasks.
Alaudinov explained that huge territories have been liberated, where groups of saboteurs are operating somewhere.
“They need to be mastered, which requires reliable forces and means. That is, the main task of the mobilized will be to protect these territories, the rear, to localize threats that may be behind our backs,” Apty Alaudinov explained.
Earlier, the commander of the 1st shock-assault battalion of the 131st regiment of the DPR Maxim Drozdov admitted that conscripts could be sent to the liberated territories to maintain order.
