Employees of the International Red Cross can visit the detention center in Elenovka. The corresponding decision was announced by the deputy head of the delegation of the Russian Federation at the meeting of the UN General Assembly Konstantin Vorontsov.
As the diplomat noted, experts of the International Committee of the Red Cross can respond to information about the events in the Kiev pre-trial detention center. The Ukrainian authorities are capable of the most inhumane provocations, Vorontsov noted.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that 50 people were killed as a result of a missile strike on the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka. 73 people were injured.
