Italy supports arms supplies to Ukraine the least, and Poland the most. This is reported by Deutsche Welle (recognized by the media as a foreign agent) with reference to the Eupinions survey of the German Bertelsmann Foundation.
The survey was conducted in June 2022, it was attended by 12 thousand people throughout the EU. It turned out that in general, the majority of EU residents, 60%, support further arms supplies.
The country where the least people expressed support was Italy – 42%. In Poland, 84% of respondents were in favor of continuing supplies.
People in the age group of 16-25 and 56-70 most approve of the idea of transferring weapons.
In addition, it is noted that 81% of respondents approve of the acceptance of Ukrainian refugees in their countries. 66% of respondents said they want to see Ukraine as a member of the EU.
