Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov spoke about the possibility of reformatting the special operation into a counterterrorist operation. According to him, this is the prerogative of President Vladimir Putin.
“Look, this is entirely the prerogative of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the president of the country. No such decisions have been made to date,” he told reporters.
According to him, we are still talking about a special operation that is ongoing.
Earlier, Peskov denied the preparation of Putin’s appeal on changing the status of his own.
