The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine claims that the Belarusian authorities handed a protest note to their ambassador in Minsk. They informed the diplomat that according to their data Kiev is preparing a strike on Belarusian territory.
The Ukrainian authorities assure that the information does not correspond to reality. Kiev considers the presentation of the note to Ambassador Igor Kizim to be a “Russian provocation.”
Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko said that Ukraine had pulled 15 thousand soldiers to the border with Belarus. The head of the country called it a provocation. He added that the Belarusian military does not take part in the special operation in Ukraine. Lukashenka sets his servicemen only one task – to prevent attacks on their territory. Poland, Lithuania and Latvia remain potential opponents.
