The President of the United States of America Joe Biden said in an interview with CNN that he does not plan to meet Putin.
“I don’t see any point in meeting with Putin at the moment,” Biden said.
He clarified that, in principle, he allows a conversation with the Russian leader, but everything depends on the proposed topic.
“For example, if Putin had approached me at the G20 to discuss the release of the American basketball player Griner, I would have met with him,” the heads of the White House said.
Among other things, the head of the White House clarified that he was not going to discuss with Russia the preservation of control over the new territories that became part of the Russian Federation.
