The President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, in an interview with the German newspaper ZDFheute Nachrichten, said that the Russian Federation plans to strike at its gas transportation system. In turn, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov decided to comment on these words, saying that Russia does not do this.
“We are not in the habit of shooting ourselves in the foot,” said the press secretary of the President of Russia.
Zelensky explained that the Russian Federation could allegedly strike at its facilities in order to then blame Ukraine for this and strike already at the Ukrainian gas transportation system, in order to interrupt fuel supplies to Europe.
