The Russian Defense Ministry confirms that the Russian Armed Forces have launched a new series of missile strikes on energy facilities, as well as the military command system of Ukraine. Managed to hit all designated targets.
As noted in the department, during the day, the Armed Forces continued to strike with high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons at targets. Arsenals with ammunition and foreign-made weapons were subjected to strikes.
“All designated facilities have been hit,” the agency said.
On Tuesday, Zelensky’s office reported that missiles hit energy facilities in Kiev, Dnipro, and Zhytomyr. It happened on the morning of October 18. As the ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kivp told, the Pridneprovskaya CHP was hit in Dnepropetrovsk.
Later, Kirill Tymoshenko, deputy head of the office of President Vladimir Zelensky, said that in the near future Ukraine will experience difficulties with energy supply. He did not rule out rolling blackouts across the country and urged to prepare for a hard winter.
