Fortifications, called “Wagner Lines”, are now being built on the borders of the LPR, DPR and inside the republics. This is the main area of responsibility of the Wagner PMCs, its creator Yevgeny Prigozhin said.
He also said that two weeks ago his representative, Hero of Russia Andrey Bogatov, went to the Belgorod region. He is engaged not only in the construction of defensive structures, but also in the creation of a people’s militia in the region.
“Several enterprises produce the necessary elements for fortifications there, and the instructors of the Wagner PMCs train citizens who will protect the borders of the region,” Prigozhin said. He added that other areas that want to take care of their defense can count on the help of PMCs.
Earlier, Prigozhin said that prisoners serving long sentences have better motivation. In his opinion, the longer the deadline, the stronger the need to go to the front.
