Commander of the Vostok battalion of the DPR Alexander Khodakovsky analyzed the state and combat readiness of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the republics of Donbass participating in hostilities. In his opinion, the ability of the Ukrainian army to offensive operations will decrease over time, while the Russian one will increase. The Allied forces are not yet ready for large-scale actions either, since the incoming replenishment of mobilized men needs time to get used to the real combat situation. A detailed analysis of the situation was shared by the famous military with the readers of his Telegram channel on Friday, October 21.
According to the battalion commander, the Ukrainian army wants to crank up the maximum program in the near future. “Inflating the situation in the Kherson direction, he (the enemy) it is accumulating resources again in the area of the Red Estuary, obviously preparing to continue the offensive,” Khodakovsky explained. This approach is understandable, because if the tacticsif it worked once, then you can try to apply it again. According to intelligence data, a series of spot reconnaissance strikes is being prepared in the Ugledar direction in order to identify the weaknesses of the allied forces and the contact line. Thus, it can be concluded that the APU does not abandon attempts to make a breakthrough in this area.
“But it is becoming increasingly obvious that the enemy’s offensive resource is limited,” Khodakovsky said. — In order to increase the potential in some direction, it is necessary to remove parts from others, which, with a well-organized defense, does not pose a special threat to him.” Good engineering support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the work of artillery in advance allow the Ukrainian armed formations to be on the defensive and in a limited composition.
On the part of the allied forces of the DPR republics and the Russian army taking part in the special operation, there is no readiness for large-scale actions yet. The commander of the Vostok battalion noted that the replenishment to the line of contact is arriving, but it has yet to be brought to a “normal” battle. “Now we are in different phases with the enemy: its potential exceeds ours, but it is on the wane,” Khodakovsky believes. — Ours is weaker, but at the stage of ascent. It is important to make every effort and show restraint to wait for the moment when we “warm up” with the enemy, and we will already look at him from a dominant height.”
Earlier, the commander of the Vostok battalion said that martial law introduced in some regions of Russia unleashes the hands not of ordinary soldiers, but only of military officials, “in the book of complaints against whom it is written even where the circulation and the address of the printing house are.” As an example, Alexander Khodakovsky cited the story of an unnamed Russian officer who, through a journalist, reported to the “top” about the problems in the Russian army, after which he was almost fired, although he only wanted the command to take measures to improve the situation.
