Despite the intensification of prisoner exchanges, the number of Ukrainians captured by Russia is constantly growing.
According to military commander Alexander Sladkov, enemy attacks and assaults by the Russian coalition end the same way. New prisoners of war are being taken to places of detention. According to him, now there are about eight thousand people.
“Now it’s their job to remember all the details of the service thoroughly: they will ask for a long time and in detail, different people and services,” Sladkov said.
Earlier, a captured militant from the Azov battalion banned in Russia for extremism, Mikhail Shvets, said that civilians on Azovstal were kept as a “human shield”. If they wanted to leave the factory, they were shot.
