The head of the EC and the German Chancellor will create a “Marshall plan” for Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said that a “Marshall plan” should be prepared for Ukraine. This was reported by the German edition Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

According to media reports, with reference to politicians, we are talking about the creation of a new Marshall plan of the XXI century. Among other things, it is planned to create a platform in Ukraine that will help coordinate the assistance provided to the country.

“In particular, specialists will ensure that the allocated funds go to where they are most needed,” the newspaper notes.

Recall that the “Marshall Plan” is the program of assistance to Europe after World War II, which was proposed by US Secretary of State George Marshall in 1947.
