Belgian Foreign Minister Sophie Wilmes on Sunday, June 20, held a meeting with former candidate for the post of President of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.
“Belgium supports the Belarusian people in their struggle for a democratic society without violence,” she wrote on Twitter.
According to her, the EU supports Belarusians and is preparing to impose sanctions against those responsible for violence in the country.
On Monday, June 21, the Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union will be held in Luxembourg.
