Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said that the political crisis in the country, which began on November 9, is over. According to him, from Tuesday it is possible to start normal work.
In addition, at a rally of thousands of his supporters in Yerevan, he called on all political forces to stop the confrontation, and open a new political page with the unification.
Now the acting prime Minister has said that he is starting political consultations with all the forces that are set up for dialogue.
Pashinyan also said that the elections in Armenia, according to local and international observers, met all standards. They were legitimate.
The elections in Armenia were held on June 20. They were attended by 21 parties and four blocs. According to the calculations of the election committee, the “Civil Contract” party, led by Nikol Pashinyan, won the vote. She received 53.92% of the vote.
At the same time, the bloc of former Armenian President Robert Kocharian does not recognize the results of the last parliamentary elections. The association announced its intention to appeal to the Constitutional Court for their cancellation.
