The Russian government has prepared a positive response to the initiative to introduce a fine for throwing garbage out of cars. This is reported by “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”.
The authorities supported the draft law, which amends the Administrative Code, but made some technical comments. Thus, the innovations will affect the increase in fines for illegal waste disposal and the recording of such violations through photo and video recording.
It is specified that the initiative provides for the confiscation of the vehicle with which the disposal of household waste was carried out. We are talking about the seizure of tractors, dump trucks or other similar equipment from legal entities.
At the moment, fines for such violations range from 1 to 2 thousand rubles. If the law is adopted, fines for citizens will increase to 10-15 thousand rubles, for individuals and entrepreneurs who operate without forming a legal entity – from 20 to 30 thousand rubles; for legal entities – from 30 to 50 thousand rubles.
