The aviation of the Black Sea Fleet conducted combat training flights. The Russian military did this against the background of NATO exercises that are taking place in the region. 10 aircraft were involved in the training flights.
The crews flew over the Black Sea and worked out the tasks of bombing and missile strikes on the ships of the imaginary enemy. The aviation of the Southern Military District also took part in the training.
The Su-30SM multi-purpose fighters and Su-24M front-line bombers, Su-34 fighter-bombers and Su-27 interceptor fighters were lifted into the air. The crew of the Be-2 amphibious aircraft performed a reconnaissance of the water area. The former landing ships “Saratov” and “Orsk ” acted as a conditional enemy.
