The Kremlin’s press service reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin held telephone talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with whom he discussed issues in the context of the aggravation of the situation in Afghanistan.
They also discussed issues on the bilateral agenda, during which they highly appreciated the development of Russian-Uzbek relations.
Both leaders agreed on further contacts.
