A petition was published on the website of the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, asking to allow Ukrainian citizens to cross the border with Russia and Belarus in some cases.
Thus, it is proposed to allow crossing the border to meet with relatives, resolve inheritance issues and establish cultural and economic ties.
“Everyone has relatives, why is the EU open for departure, while others cannot see relatives and all economic and cultural ties with the countries of the Slavs have been destroyed?” the text of the document says.
The petition was registered on Monday.
