On the morning of Tuesday, October 18, an air alert was declared over the entire territory of Ukraine. It is reported that the strikes were carried out in a number of major cities of the country.
So, as a result of two strikes, an energy infrastructure facility in Dnipro (Dnepropetrovsk) was put out of operation. This was announced by Kirill Tymoshenko, deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
In turn, Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov reported two series of explosions in the city. He noted that the strikes fell on one of the industrial districts of the city. It is also reported that the movement of metro trains has been suspended in Kharkiv.
In addition, it is reported about strikes on Krivoy Rog and Mykolaiv, power supply is disrupted in these cities. Strikes on energy infrastructure facilities were also carried out in Zhytomyr.
Later, there were reports of strikes on Kiev. The nature of the damage has not yet been reported.
