The commander of the anti-aircraft gunners unit, Lieutenant Sergey Maenov, turned out to be the most accurate shooter according to the results of the “Mastery” race at the “Clear Sky” competition within the framework of the Army International Games, the Russian Defense Ministry reports. This year’s competition is held in China.
On the YouTube channel of the department, a video appeared in which Maenov from the Igla-S MANPADS was able to hit a Chinese TY-300D missile flying at an altitude of 1.5 km.
It is noted that Maenov was the only one who managed to hit the target.
It is worth noting that the International Army Games are held from August 22 to September 4 on the territory of 11 countries. Military personnel from 40 countries take part in them. This year, the Suvorov Onslaught, Clear Sky and Safe Environment contests are being held in China.
