Honored and People’s Artist of Russia Alexey Guskov during the broadcast on the program “Antonyms” said that when Crimea was part of Ukraine, it was like a “garbage dump”.
“I saw how under Ukraine this peninsula, this heavenly place turned into a perfect garbage dump,” Guskov said.
Now, in his opinion, Russia is investing enormous funds in the development of this region. He added that he would not give up his words, despite his love for Kiev, where he spent his childhood.
In December last year, Guskov was included in the list of persons who pose a threat to the national security of Ukraine.
Recall that Crimea became part of Russia seven years ago after a referendum held on the peninsula. Ukraine considers Crimea its own, but temporarily occupied territory.
