Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov, who returned to work in the United States on Sunday, said that he plans to meet with his American colleagues on bilateral relations in the coming days.
According to him, the priority task is to “correct the dialogue”, “restore the undermined dialogue mechanisms”.
Antonov noted that he is going to work on the implementation of “those words of a positive nature” that were voiced at the end of the summit of Presidents Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden in Geneva on June 16.
US Ambassador John Sullivan is expected to start working in Moscow in the near future.
