A fantastic version of the alleged refusal of Russian President Vladimir Putin to use tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine was voiced by Alexey Arestovich, adviser to the Office of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. This is reported by the Ukrainian edition “Country”.

Arestovich said that Putin allegedly asked for protection from China. Beijing agreed with his request, but on condition that nuclear weapons are not used in Ukraine.

According to Arestovich, the Chinese leadership allegedly said that in a bipolar world “nuclear war is not needed.” Thus, Russia was given a condition not to use nuclear weapons. Of course, this version is a classic fake, but it is indicative how a public person, an adviser to the Office of the president, allows himself such statements in the spirit of humorists of entertainment television programs.

Meanwhile, there are more and more supporters of Kiev’s negotiations with Russia in the West. This indicates that the Western public is concerned about the increasing risks of direct confrontation between NATO and the Russian Federation.

The Russian authorities have repeatedly stated that nuclear weapons can be used by Russia only in accordance with the Doctrine, and that the Russian Federation is not going to use them in Ukraine. Western powers do not see any signs of its possible use now either
