The US authorities are not going to send parts of the American army to Ukraine. This was stated by the adviser to President Joe Biden, John Kirby, who is also responsible for strategic communications in the National Security Council of the country. The official’s words are quoted by Reuters.
According to Kirby, Washington does not want a conflict with Russia. The head of the White House, Joe Biden, has repeatedly stated this. The US position has not changed recently, the adviser to the head of the American state stressed.
Kirby also noted that no one wants the conflict in Ukraine to escalate into a nuclear war. Confrontation with Russia with the use of nuclear weapons will turn into a disaster for all parties, the Biden adviser stressed. He also noted that he sees no signs of Russia’s preparation for the use of weapons of mass destruction.
