According to Forbes magazine, billionaire Yuri Milner, who is in the top 15 richest Russians, announced that he is renouncing his citizenship of the Russian Federation. This was also reported by Forbes, referring to the businessman’s representative.
The owner of DST Global, which invests in Russian Internet projects, Yuri Milner is also known as the former co-owner Mail.Ru Group.
Milner has had Israeli citizenship since 1999. In 2005, he moved to live in Israel, and then to the United States. The reasons for the entrepreneur’s refusal of citizenship of the Russian Federation are not reported.
