Later, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the Russian military had carried out precision strikes on “energy systems” in Ukraine.
“During the day, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued to strike with long—range precision-guided air and sea-based weapons at the military control and energy systems of Ukraine, as well as at arsenals with ammunition and weapons of foreign manufacture, all the intended targets were hit,” said Lieutenant Colonel Igor Konashenkov.
