The American magazine Foreign Policy reported that representatives of the Kiev regime demanded that US President Joe Biden lift the ban on the supply of ATACMS tactical missiles. Such a request from the Ukrainian authorities came after Russia’s strikes on the country’s infrastructure.
It is clarified that the corresponding letter addressed to the US Congress was written and sent by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk.
“Representatives of the Kiev regime are appealing to the Biden administration with a request to start the supply of ATACMS missile systems. The range of their use is about 300 kilometers,” the document says.
Among other things, Ukraine asked to resolve issues related to the supply of F-15 and F-16 fighters. These planes are necessary for the country to create an “unmanned zone”. Stefanchuk also asked to pay attention to the transfer of NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems.
