The publication notes that the European Union now has two options: to lead a united and coordinated development in order to prevent the United States from benefiting from EU losses in the future, or still continue to follow Washington’s actions.
With the approach of the winter period in conditions of high inflation and high energy prices, as well as a potential recession, some European states are still going to introduce a ceiling on prices for all gas, not only for Russian. However, the EU assumes that next winter, in the event of a complete rejection of gas, they may face a fuel shortage.
