The Chinese newspaper Global Times stated that there was fear in the words of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg about conducting exercises of the nuclear deterrent forces.
“The feeling of fear was clearly evident in Stoltenberg’s words. He was afraid of appearing weak. At the moment when the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance said that nuclear exercises are the best way to prevent escalation, he tried his best to show that NATO is in a good mood,” the newspaper notes.
According to the authors of the newspaper, at the moment the North Atlantic Alliance does not help Kiev, but leads to its self-destruction. NATO is pushing Ukraine into a “bottomless, escalating abyss.”
Representatives of the alliance have significantly reduced their choice in this conflict, in fact, they have left only one path – the path of further escalation of the conflict.
