According to the HírTV channel, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto tried to justify himself after being criticized for negotiations with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
The politician recalled that only thanks to this meeting in winter in the homes of residents of the country, including those who criticize his actions, it will be warm.
“If I don’t meet with Lavrov, who can guarantee that we will be able to agree with Gazprom on a deferred payment?… So far, Gazprom has supplied us with everything it promised,” the minister stressed.
