The very fact of peace talks with Russia will mean its victory in Ukraine. Therefore, Kiev now has no motives for agreeing to a dialogue with Moscow.
So the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, commented on the statement of a British expert who allowed the resumption of negotiations between the parties in the autumn of 2022.
According to the Ukrainian official, the dialogue with Russia will be a fixed defeat of Kiev, Europe and democratic values.
“And after that, the fall of the entire global security system, the system of values to which we relate ourselves, will follow. Any negotiations today with the available input capabilities, they would have recorded a civilizational catastrophe,” Podolyak stressed.
He explained that Ukraine has paid and is paying a much higher price than is necessary for a ceasefire.
Earlier, the director of the North America Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Alexander Darchiev, called on Washington to force Kiev to return to the negotiating table before it is too late.
