They were divided into four categories
The Afghan diaspora reported that the Russian authorities have agreed to let about a thousand people who want to leave Afghanistan for Russia into the country. Among them are holders of citizenship and a residence permit in the Russian Federation, President of the Center for Diasporas of Afghanistan in Russia Ghulam Mohammad Jalal said.

Earlier, he said that thousands of people want to move from Afghanistan to Russia, in this regard, the diaspora intended to apply to the Russian authorities with a request to organize their arrival.
As Jalal noted, a response was received for some categories of citizens. They were conditionally divided into four groups.
The first group includes people of Afghan origin who have Russian citizenship. The second category includes students studying in Russia who were unable to return to the country.
The third group included citizens who worked in commercial structures and have a work permit in Russia and, accordingly, a visa. The fourth group included persons with a residence permit in the Russian Federation.
As the interlocutor of RIA Novosti noted, representatives of these categories have applied to the Russian Embassy in Afghanistan, received approval and are now waiting for a technical opportunity to fly to the Russian Federation.
At the same time, the president of the diaspora noted that we are talking about about a thousand people.
In mid-August, the Taliban movement seized power in Afghanistan (the organization is recognized as a terrorist organization in the Russian Federation and is banned), after which flows of refugees began to flow out of the country.
They are mainly concentrated in the area of the Kabul airport, since it is now de facto possible to leave the country only by air: almost all regions of the country are controlled by militants.
