The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, who recently announced his “indefinite leave”, explained on Tuesday what he meant by this expression. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
Kadyrov writes that on the day when he made such a statement, he came across a publication saying that he had been the head of the republic for 15 years and was a “long-lived” among the heads of regions.
“I thought it was a lot, and I decided to get your opinion,” Ramzan Kadyrov explained his phrase about “indefinite leave”. Later he found out that the previous record of work as the head of the region is 27 years and said that he decided to go for his beating. “Let’s see if I can beat this indicator,” writes Ramzan Akhmatovich.
He noted that he can only resign from his post “by asking the people and the President of Russia.” Therefore, he proposed to leave the talks about indefinite leave for the future, noting that he would not even take the days of rest he was supposed to take now.
“I have said before that at this crucial time, when our country is fighting world Satanism in the Donbass, neither the regional authorities nor military personnel of all ranks can go on vacation,” he said.
