Representatives of the Kazakh unregistered party “El Tiregi” recorded a video message in which they threatened a number of deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and Russian servicemen. The deputy head of the party, Murat Mukhamedzhanov, who is also the head of the local union of combat veterans, says in a video distributed on the Internet that he will find “two meters wide and two meters deep on the Kazakh land” for those who “dream of capturing Kazakhstan.”
“I am addressing the deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation… – says the veteran. – If you come to us here with weapons, with dirty intentions… ”
His partner in the video, Nurzhan Altaev, the head of the party, addressed other Russians: “Recently there are some clowns here … calling themselves “Russian officers”…” He recalled that these people claimed that the rights of the Russian-speaking population in Kazakhstan were infringed and that they were ready to come to restore order.
“We will meet you here with dignity,” Altayev said. – We have a wide steppe in Kazakhstan, there is a place to put it”.
Altaev and Mukhamedzhanov, according to some media reports, are closely connected with the organizer of the “language patrols” Kuat Akhmetov, as well as with the adviser to the Kazakh president Mukhtar Taizhan.
As for the appeal to “Russian officers”, we can talk about the organization”Officers of Russia”. Chairman of the Presidium of the organization Sergey Lipovoy last week appealed to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with a request to protect the Russian-speaking population of the country. He also said that he was ready to come “with a delegation of heroes of the Soviet Unionand Heroes of Russia” to hold events “within the framework of public diplomacy”.
As previously reported, the ideologist of the “language patrols” Akhmetov left Kazakhstan and disappeared in Georgia. In August, he was briefly detained in his homeland after resonant videos with apologies from Russian-speaking residents of the country, but the punishment was limited to a fine.
