The commander of the Vostok battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky, said that the process of removing wounded neo-Nazis from Azovstal continues.
“These are seriously wounded people who are being carried out on stretchers. No one is releasing the lightly wounded, or the living, capable “Azov” now,” he said.
According to him, at the highest level, it was decided to exchange them for Russian prisoners of war.
The wounded were collected at several points. Representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine asked to provide stretchers, which they lack, and to clear some areas in order to unblock the passage.
Writer Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomin) reported on the TG channel that at the moment he knows about 20 non-walking wounded “Azov”, who were taken to the hospital in Novoazovsk.
Earlier, RT correspondent Igor Zhdanov reported that up to 500 people could surrender. According to him, among those who have already come to the surface there are very interesting personalities, about whom he promised to tell later.
