However, the director of the Center for North Korea Studies of the Sejong Institute, Jong Song Jang, believes that the plot with the thinness of the leader of the DPRK was invented specifically to exclude speculation about his health problems and to demonstrate the hard work of the leader for the benefit of the nation. The state media of the DPRK could specifically emphasize that he does not even have time for food.

Meanwhile, the South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo reported that Kim Jong-un’s height is 170 centimeters, and his weight was about 140 kilograms. This exceeds the norm for people aged 30-40 years. As a result, according to the publication, recently the entourage of the North Korean leader asked him to lose weight and rest.
