Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that concerns about the West’s plans for Ukraine were confirmed. He told reporters this at a press conference with Mali’s Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop.
According to him, the Russian side reminded the Malian friends of what was really happening in Ukraine over the past long years, and also recalled the reasons why we had no other choice but to launch a special military operation. Lavrov said that during the special operation, all fears about what the West was trying to do from Ukraine were absolutely confirmed.
«All the tasks that were set by President Putin, first of all, the protection of people, civilians in Ukraine <…>, will, of course, be fulfilled, he promised.
