A missile attack on Sunday night was carried out on a US military base near the Omar oil field in Syria. Information about this was distributed by the Al-Alam TV channel.
According to eyewitnesses, at least five explosions were heard at the American base in the province of Deir ez-Zor, after which a fire started. Data on victims and victims have not been received at the moment.
The missiles were fired from the area of the Syrian-Iraqi border. As a retaliatory measure, the helicopters of the international coalition fired at the positions of Shiite detachments near Zeiban and El-Mayadin.
At the same time, on October 18, an American drone fired missiles at Shiite bases east of Deir ez-Zor. Ammunition and weapons depots were named as targets. There was no information about the consequences of that attack.
